ProCredit Bank, Georgia announces a vacancy for the position of IT Auditor.
The ProCredit group comprises 20 financial institutions which are located on 3 continents and focus on providing responsible banking services to very small, small and medium sized businesses in transition economies and developing countries. In addition we strive to develop a savings culture amongst private persons and to provide secure, fair and transparent savings and banking services to ordinary people who are looking for an affordable bank they can trust. In Georgia ProCredit Bank was established in 1999 and as of today it comprises numerous branches all over the country.
ProCredit Bank is currently looking to recruit IT Auditor.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform IT audits (identify, assess, document and report risks, propose solutions, monitor implementation of agreed actions) both locally and in the other banks of the Banking Group.
- Monitor overall risk level in IT area. Identify the most critical areas for auditing.
- Develop specialized IT audit programs together with Group IT auditors.
- Support Internal Audit Department with IT expertise in everyday work. Provide training and explanations for department's members.
- Together with local risk management and ISO act as an independent consultant for IT in projects.
- Assess and ensure implementation of Group IT audit recommendations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Obligatory:
- A degree in computer science, risk management or information security;
- 2 years of working experience in risk management, IT or information security preferably as a team leader;
- Good working knowledge with international audit procedures, methodologies and standards (ISACA, GTAG, etc);
- Working knowledge in project management and risk control frameworks.
- Understanding of basic concepts in the fields of: networking, Windows server OS family maintenance, database management systems, business applications.
- Ability to communicate with people having various backgrounds: IT administrators, auditors, executives.
- Ability to travel abroad 30-50%.
- Swift-learner, self starter and able to work autonomously.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including negotiation, influence and conflict resolution.
- Perfect written and oral communication skills in both English and Georgian.
Preferred:
- Experience as an administrator or an auditor with one or all of the following IT technologies:
- Networking: security (firewalls, IDS/IPS systems), switching, routing.
- Operating systems: MS Windows OS family (configuration, hardening, Active Directory, auditing).
- Databases: MS SQL (configuration, hardening, auditing).
- Auditing of business applications (proper design, configuration reviews, security).
