Analysts are of fundamental importance to the production of our database programme, and the key source of insight for all our projects and reports. They are also at the forefront of second-line client management and need to be aware that they represent BRG during every research interaction.

The key responsibility of our analysts is to collect, analyse and report on relevant industry data and developments for the markets they cover, working with their project team to achieve their goals in a timely, organised and efficient manner whilst adhering to all project-related procedures. In the course of the first year they are expected to develop a thorough knowledge of the sectors and countries allocated to them, and to become able to answer most questions (both from clients and internal) related to their data and qualitative insights. Analysts should communicate well in both written and verbal form, in a manner that is complete, clear and concise.

BRG wants to encourage a culture of progressive learning and constructive feedback, and we are devoted to encouraging and supporting each other’s continual professional growth. Analysts should therefore learn to actively participate and to convey information and feedback to supervisors, peers and external contacts in a professional and constructive way. They should show a hunger for learning and improving their abilities, by listening and interacting with their peers, and be open minded to suggestions from senior members of the team.
