On behalf of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), HRRA is recruiting suitable individuals for the positions of Registration Assistants (Estimated number required: 14).
 
These positions are required for the EBRD’s Annual Meeting in Tbilisi on May 13-15, 2015. Please note that these positions are short-term.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
 
"Registration" is the first point of contact for business guests, where they will register their participation at the Business Forum and collect their badges for access to the venues.  Registration assistants are required to be extremely calm and polite, with a ready smile and willing to help in any way. At times, these staff will also be required to “float” within the registration area to help guests find their way and ease the “people flow” throughout the building. Prior experience of the venues is a distinct advantage.
  • Greeting business guests/speakers/press/delegates on arrival;
  • Checking business guest details on computerised database and/or registering their attendance on computerised database;
  • Taking full details and entering information onto database if guest has not pre-registered;
  • Checking identification;
  • Handing out security badges;
  • Handing out information packs, programmes etc;
  • Passing delegate/business guests/press enquiries onto the relevant EBRD representative;
  • Provide a high level of ‘customer service’ to all attendees;
  • Assist in the preparation of the participant bags.
 
All training on registration software will be given.
 
Professional Skills & Other Requirements:
  • A good standard of written and spoken English;
  • A basic knowledge of computers is important;
  • Ability to multitask i.e. work on more than one job at once.
 
Personal Skills:
Registration Assistants should be extremely well presented, confident, poised and possess good communication skills. They should also be flexible, prepared to work long hours under periods of sustained pressure and possess a cheerful disposition.
