Newton Free School is seeking long-term Teachers for IB Diploma Programme (DP):

** Mathematics Teacher;
** History Teacher;
** Chemistry Teacher;
** Biology Teacher;
** Economics Teacher. 

Main duties and responsibilities:

** Planning, teaching and developing curriculum within the standards and practices of the DP.
** Preparing written unit plans and establishing clear instructional objectives based on the curriculum.
** Providing constructive feedback and ideas for the improvement of student learning in the school.
** Actively supporting and promoting IB philosophy, mission and goals.
** Working cooperatively with fellow-staff members and administrators on curriculum design and assessment implementations.
** Attending meetings, trainings, workshops and professional development activities as assigned or recommended.
** Selecting and/or designing relevant educational materials for the course.
** Completing other administrative tasks to comply will all IB and/or Newton Free School requirements and regulations.

Required qualifications: 

** Bachelor`s degree in relevant subject area. Master`s degree or PhD will be a huge asset.
** At least 3 years of experience in teaching and at least 2 years of experience in teaching with English as a language of instruction.
** Prior IB teaching experience is highly desirable. 
** A certificate to prove an excellent command of English (TOEFL, IELTS, CAE) will be an asset.
